Questions

Which profile should I choose?

It depends on the window style, budget and the look you want. We go through the REHAU, Liniar and Smart Systems options at the survey and put the chosen one in writing on the quote.

Is there a product code I can check?

These windows are made to measure, so there is no off-the-shelf code. The supplier order reference is confirmed on your quote once sizes and options are fixed.

Questions about your installation

What should a made-to-measure window survey check?

Opening dimensions, condition, ventilation, escape requirements where relevant and the intended frame and glazing specification all need consideration.

Are all white window profiles interchangeable?

No. Profile, sightlines, hardware and glazing options vary. Confirm the actual product specification before ordering.

Can replacement windows change a room’s ventilation?

Yes. Required ventilation needs considering during the survey, rather than assuming a tighter frame is the only objective.

Should the installation quote identify finishing work?

Yes. Ask which internal and external making-good work is included and how surrounding finishes will be treated.

Do product images confirm the window available for my opening?

No. They illustrate ranges. Size, configuration, finish and availability need confirming against the surveyed opening.

Are window changes on older houses always unrestricted?

No. Listed buildings, conservation controls and Article 4 directions may affect frame materials or appearance.
